As we all know, if your sim is blocked either due to input of wrong password or other problems as it may be, you need to enter your sim card PUK code to unblock the sim.
What is PUK Number
This PUK is usually 8 digit unique code for a specific Sim card.
Why Do I need PUK
As I said earlier if you wrongly input a security pin code on your sim (maximum trial of 5 times) of which after that it will lead your line to be blocked, then you will be required to use your sim card PUK number which is located at back cover of your sim pack. How to get my Airtel Sim PUK Number using USSD code
With USSD code, you do not need an internet to perform transactions or check your Airtel PUK number.- Step 1 Simply Dial *121#
- Step 2 Select option 3 and then
- Step 3 Select option 7
Now your mobile sim PUK number will be displayed, you can write it down and keep it safe on a notebook.
Its advisable to save on your gmail or Google drive.
And for those of you who have been blocked already and can't find their sim pack.
You can simply dial 121 and follow the prompt to speak with a customer agent
