9mobile to soon launch 4G Network in 16 State's

9mobile say's it is planning to roll out 4G network in 16 cities within the country (Nigeria) in the next coming months.

Well, to say the fact, there is a long list of cities in Nigeria where 9mobile 4G network has not been reach and this is really a good news from the company. By doing so, this will lead to renewal of coverage, network expansion and also adding quality services to their customers as well.

The 9mobile acting Managing Director, Stephane Beuvelet, said the firm had invested in massive roll-out of infrastructure to improve network efficiency.

Enugu, Sokoto, Owerri, Eket and other 12 cities in Nigeria are expected to benefit from the launch of 9mobile’s 4G network in the next few months.

This was disclosed by the acting Managing Director,  "Stephane Beuvelet" who noted that these improvements are to make their network better for their numerous subscribers in Nigeria.

The Manager also disclosed that the company was partnering Reanna Nigeria Limited on a project to pilot of smart off grid technologies that would power the company’s infrastructure.

“What we found out was that in the past, there was no economical way to provide coverage in rural areas and we found out that with this partnership, it is a very effective way to provide coverage in rural areas. This is a proof of concept for this company to provide innovative solar-based satellite solutions, which is low-cost and will allow coverage in remote areas,” the acting MD added.
